Historical background
Phoenix Single Fir Oolong Tea has a history of more than 900 years, and its production history can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty.
Contemporary scholars trace the history of tea production in Chaozhou back to the Tang Dynasty. It is widely said that the Song Emperor passed through Fenghuang Mountain when he fled south and drank this tea to quench his thirst and generate water. Later, it was widely planted and called this tree "Song seed" or "Prinzia tea".
The First draft of Guangdong General Annals in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty has already recorded that "Tea, the tide of Sangpu is the best", indicating that Chaoan had become one of the tea producing areas in Guangdong at that time.
Origin environment
Phoenix Single Fir Oolong Tea is produced in Fenghuang Mountain, Fenghuang Town, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. The region has a warm climate, abundant rain, clouds and fog all the year round, humid air, large temperature difference between day and night, average annual temperature of about 20℃, and annual precipitation of about 1800 mm.
The soil is rich and rich in organic matter and a variety of trace elements, which is conducive to the development and formation of tea polyphenols and aromatic substances.
Tea characteristics
Appearance: The rope is thick, uniform and straight, yellowish-brown in color, oily with light, and has vermilion red spots.
Soup color: golden, clear and bright.
Aroma: Strong and durable, with unique natural flowers, such as yellow branch fragrance, sesame orchid fragrance, honey orchid fragrance.
Taste: strong alcohol fresh, throat back sweet, with a unique mountain charm.
Leaf base: vermilion edge, yellow leaf belly bright, with "green leaves red border" characteristics.
Production technology
